Getting to Know me...

Because procrastinating is more fun than not procrastinating...

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper is more fun to open.

2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial until I no longer live in an apartment.

3. When do you put up the tree? Hopefully soon. Once all this marking and planning gets done so I can relax and enjoy it.

4 When do you take the tree down? Whenever Craig takes it down.

5. Do you like eggnog? Egg nog lattes are the best thing ever.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? I used to love getting Barbies. Why don't kids play with Barbies anymore???

7. Hardest person to buy for? Craig.

8. Easiest person to buy for? Mark. And Griffin.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? No. Maybe Mom will give me one of her 600 nativity scenes :o)

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? That's too mean. It's the thought that counts.

11. Favorite Christmas Movie? Charlie Brown. The original one with Linus and the story of Christmas.

12. When do you start shopping for Christmas? We had a snow day the other day, so I started then. Otherwise I would be starting after school lets out next Friday. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. But I work better under pressure.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I don't think so.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Clementines, shortbread cookies, and holiday Mini Eggs. Oh, and egg nog lattes.

16. Lights on the tree? Yes. White ones.

17. Christmas song(s)? Any of the old church hymns. My favourite will always be "O Holy Night" followed by "The Bell Carol"

18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Yes. But it's "reindeers" without an apostrophe. Sorry, I'm always in teacher mode.

19. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel

20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning only. Craig always wants to open one on Christmas Eve, and every year I shoot down that suggestion.

21. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? "Xmas". It's Christmas. Also, not being allowed to acknowledge Christmas at school.

22. Theme or color? For what?

23. Still do a stocking? We sit them out, but for some reason only Griffin's gets filled.

25. When do you go to Church? I haven't been to the Christmas Eve service since Mom and Dad moved to Ontario. Maybe when they move back. Hint hint.
