Day 5 - St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

St Thomas was beautiful. I think it was my favourite stop. Craig and I did a lot while we were here: went to the beach, went shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie, walked along the water, and went up on this tramway that takes you really high up (the views were amazing!). We had a great day!



This little guy was just sunning himself at the beach. And by little, I mean enormous. Beach.


I snapped this picture of the St. Thomas licence plate because I thought it was pretty. In St. Thomas they drive on the opposite side of the road, which is weird considering that the country is owned by the States. There were even signs everywhere reminding you to drive on the left! We chose not to rent a car here.
The next two pictures were taken after we went up the tramway. You can't see them in this picture, but there were 5 cruise ships in port that day. Our cab driver said it was a cab driver's dream.

I took this picture for Mom and Dad. This was a Lutheran Church in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Would've been a little warmer than Northern Ontario!
