Day 7 - Nassau, Bahamas

Craig snapped this picture in the Nassau shopping area. I wonder who was in the limo...

This is the front of our ship.

This is another Royal Caribbean ship, Sovereign of the Seas. I think it is one of those small weekend ships out of Florida. It was one of the 4 ships in Nassau that day.

The building with the white roof is the famous straw market. Craig and I went in just for fun, but were in and out in about 2 minutes. I was scared to stop and look at anything, because the merchants were very pushy. It was also really crowded and cramped. Probably wouldn't go in again if I ever found myself in Nassau again!
Craig and I went snorkeling in Nassau. On the boat to the reef, the host gave us a quick tour. This bridge is the famous bridge that goes from Nassau to Paradise Island. Apparently it has been in such movies as "My Father the Hero", and a James Bond movie, I think.

Here is a picture of the famous Atlantis resort. There was a lot of construction going on, and apparently they're building new suites that will go for several thousand dollars a night. It's a really gorgeous hotel.

Here are a few other pictures I took while on the tour boat. Some of the houses along the way were amazing, sometimes bordering on ridiculous. Apparently Oprah and Tiger Woods have houses along here, along with other famous people.

I wonder how much some of these houses would go for???
