Back Again

Sadly, on Saturday it was time to return to Miami. We arrived very early in the morning, since people had to start getting off at 6:30. They need to unload the ship, clean it up, and have the whole thing reloaded again by that afternoon. Our time to get off was 8:00, but we had to be out of our rooms by 7:30. Craig was up early (around 5) and snapped a couple pictures while we docked in Miami. He then went back to sleep and we both slept in until 7:30. Oops. :o)These pictures didn't come out that great. But you get the idea. These are the other 2 ships that left Miami on the same day we did.

They look so cool at night. I wish I could have gotten a picture of our ship at night with all the lights on.
The was our terminal.
Some night shots of Miami.

After we finally got off, and said goodbye to Mom and Dad, Craig and I went to get our rental car. Since he was planning to stay a couple days, he wanted another convertible and managed to talk the guy into a Mustang at a discounted price.

We went for a drive, since I had several hours before I had to be at the airport. We passed Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale. I figured Griffin would get a kick out of this. It was funny, because everyone who drives in Miami seems to use air conditioning, but we left the top down the whole time. You can always tell the tourists!

Unfortunately, before we knew it, it was time to go to the airport and go home :o(
Thanks to my parents, and to everyone else who helped make this vacation unforgettable!
