Miami

Just like last year, we caught the boat out of Miami, so we had a day to spend there. Craig went down before me, so he was able to get checked into the hotel and pick up the rental car and stuff. We were supposed to get a boring sedan, but somehow Craig managed to flirt with the rental lady and got upgraded to a Sebring convertible. Of course he told her he was travelling alone. But, whatever. The car was super cool for cruising around Miami! Here is our hotel. Most comfy beds ever!
This is an advertisement for some bank. I just thought it was cool. On the ship, the announcements were always ended with "... and have a great day" after which all the workers would yell "Woo hoo!"
After a crazy thunderstorm in the morning, we had fantastic weather.

Craig and I drove the convertible over to Miami Beach, and just walked around snapping pictures. The architecture is so cool!
You'll see a lot of pictures of cool cars. At least Craig thought they were cool. I really don't know any better.

The beach was okay. Really crowded. Apparently there was a lesbian wedding further down the beach on this day. For those of you that remember my pictures from last year, Craig and I took a similar picture to this. Coincidently, I am wearing the same shirt that I was wearing in that picture.

We passed Miami High School on our way back to the hotel. It was huge. All the schools in Southern Florida seem to be really open and airy. I can totally picture myself working there. I'm sure the kids would still be crazy, but at least I would be warm!

Friday night, all 17 people who were coming to the wedding went out for dinner. It took some coordinating, but it ended up being a fun supper!
Mom got Nicole and Mark bride and groom hats. Nicole was so thrilled to wear it in the busy restaurant.
I`m really glad that so many people were able to make it!
